brown fused alumina is made from high quality bauxite by fusing in a tilt-pour or fixed electric arc furnace. The grains are in blocky shape, it is suitable for manufacturing vitrified and resinoid tools, lapping, polishing and blasting. It also may be used as superior refractory.
