HP-16 Heat Pipe Solar Collectors
HP-16 collector uses the TB-I tube as the absorber tube, each glass tube is fitted with an aluminum contact fin which serves to be the heat transfer contact and also fixes the copper pipe against inner wall of the glass tube. The liquid in the heat pipe change into vapor by heating, the vapour goes up within the heat pipe. When heat is exchanging between the condenser end of the heat pipe and the metallic faster of the heat pipe and main pipe in the collector head, herein, the heat will be transferred into the liquid (anti-freezing liquid
or water inside the main pipe). As long as the sun shines, the circulation will repeated.
