Picking and production: The leaves, fruits can be used in medicine; leaf collection whole year, dried or fresh used, picking after the fall and dried to stock for using. Properties and effectiveness: Leaves: bitter, warm, astringent; small drug. Diuretic, anti-inflammatory and detoxification. Fruit: acid, sweet repressing hyperactive, cure diarrhea. Effects and usage: Leaves can be used to cure urethritis, cystitis, gonorrhea, kidney stones. And can be used for rheumatism, gout. Arbutin contained in the leaves in alkaline urine decomposition, generating hydroquinone, it can be used for cystitis . Common dosage is 2.5g-5g for infusum or apozem. fruit; mainly is used to treat enteritis, dysentery. Common dosage 5g-10g. also can be used for the lack of vitamins. And also can be used to produce into wine,jam and beverages. In addition, the leaves are also the raw material for producing tannin.
