Agar-agar Powder
The original producing areas of Agar-agar are Indonesia and Malaysia.It is processed with agar in conventional ways.But agar has several disadvantages as low intensity and poor taste as well as high price.So some manufacturers use refined carrageenan and natural gel strength improver as additives while processing.The product thus has tenacity and smooth texture as well as transparent appearance and bright taste.What is more ,it can ba added into with sugar and acid of random amounts,juice and essence of varied flavor as well to fit all kinds of people.And you can also put it into refrigerator before eating to make the products more flavorful and refreshing in summers.
Recipes
(1) Tip out a little bag of Agar-agar Powder(about 8 grams)into a stainless pot and add into 1000ml warm water,, stir evenly for 15 minutes.
(2) Heat the water to 90-95℃ to melt ,sprinkling into 20 grams granulated sugar while stirring.
(3) Cool down to 70℃ and put into appropriate natural juice or citric acid (about 2 grams),pour out the mixture into jelly cups as soon as it is stirred evenly.Cool down to room temperature to curdle before eating.You can also chill the product at 6℃ to get a better flavor before serving.
