Elastomeric rubber bridge expansion joint

Shuanglin Elastomeric expansion joint also called Bolt-down panel joints, consists of
molded elastomeric panels reinforced with steel plates as shown in fig. They are bolted into the block outs formed in the concrete bridge deck n each side of an expansion joint gap. Bolt-down panels can be fabricated in varying widths proportional to the total allowable movement range. Normally used for movement ranges of 38 to 330mm by shear deformation of the elastomer between the steel components.
