Metal mellaring ring possess good symmetry in geometry morphology, homogeneous structure and high void volume. It shaping like a wreath or lantern, makes alternate arrangements for eight-arc rings and four-arc rings. At the same time, each segment of the ring folds inward along the radial direction, which makes continuous surface and uniform spatial distribution. Compared with metal pall ring, metal mellaring ring has higher flux (15 - 30%) and lower pressure drop (20 - 30%).
