Grinding Cold Drawn Seamless Tubes are made of seamless steel tubes, with raw materials hot rolled, under cold drawn process then honing. They are widely used for manufacturing hydraulic cylinders.
Grinding / Honing, is a finishing method whose goal is to ensure perfect surface grade, in our case final treatment of the inner diameter of the tube. Advantage of this classic procedure honing is high geometrical accuracy of the shape with minimal conicity and waviness of the surface. However, after the process, there will be a large number of spiral grooves from the grinding tools. Final surface will have roughness Ra 0,4 μm.
