Micronized polypropylene wax for pigment processing
Polypropylene wax is mainly used for pigment dispersion and processing performance improvement, with specific applications as follows:
Pigment dispersant
Polypropylene wax, through its low viscosity characteristics, can significantly improve the dispersion effect of pigments in color masterbatch, especially in the production of ultrafine fiber color masterbatch and multi-layer BOPP film color masterbatch, which can uniformly wet pigment particles and enhance dispersion stability.
Plastic Process
In the blending of polypropylene resin, polypropylene wax can reduce the viscosity of the material, promote the compatibility between the filler and the resin, improve the demolding effect and surface smoothness of the product.
Ink and Coatings
Polypropylene wax can enhance ink wear resistance, reduce wrinkling, and improve the temperature resistance and transparency of printed materials. In coatings, its matte effect is significant and is commonly used for surface modification of matte paints.
