THI®F-117 is a high-performance multi-purpose pickling corrosion inhibitor specifically designed for chemical cleaning applications. It exhibits exceptional corrosion inhibition capabilities across a wide range of acids, including oxidizing acids, non-oxidizing acids, various inorganic acids, and organic acids. Beyond basic corrosion protection, it also delivers excellent performance in inhibiting hydrogen permeation and mitigating accelerated corrosion caused by ferric iron (Fe³⁺), ensuring comprehensive protection for metal workpieces during pickling.

Anti-Pitting & Brightening Effect: It offers excellent resistance to acid-induced hydrogen permeation and Fe³⁺ corrosion, eliminating pitting corrosion during the pickling process. Additionally, it enhances the surface brightness of workpieces post-pickling, improving the overall quality of processed metals.
Cost-Effective & Process-Compatible: It reduces pickling solution consumption by 15-20%, generating significant economic benefits. It has no adverse impact on subsequent post-pickling processes, as well as the recovery and regeneration of acid solutions, ensuring seamless integration into existing production lines.

Application Scope
Scale Types: Compatible with various chemical cleaning acids to remove carbonate, iron oxide, sulfate, mixed, and siliceous scales.
Metal Materials: Suitable for pickling of carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, and their composite materials.
Acid Types: Applicable for pickling with hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid, nitric-hydrofluoric acid mixture, ammoniated citric acid, ammoniated citric acid-ammonium bifluoride mixture, sulfamic acid, glycolic acid, glycolic acid-formic acid-ammonium hydrogen fluoride mixture, EDTA, oxalic acid, phosphoric acid, acetic acid, sulfuric acid, and other inorganic/organic acids or mixed acids.
Industries & Equipment: Ideal for cleaning heat exchange equipment in industries such as petroleum, chemicals, machinery, metallurgy, electric power, transportation, refrigeration, and daily life. This includes boilers, coolers, heaters, reactors, evaporators, storage tanks, water supply/drainage pipes, refrigerators, and compressors.
Usage Instructions
Dosage: Directly add to the pickling solution; the recommended dosage is 0.2%-0.3% of the total pickling solution volume.
Preparation Steps: First, add the measured amount of THI®F-117 to the measured water and stir until fully dissolved. Then, add the acid solution to the mixture, stir evenly, and proceed with cleaning following standard chemical cleaning procedures.
Precautions
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (e.g., acid-resistant gloves, goggles, protective clothing) during handling and use.
Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. In case of accidental splashing on the body, rinse immediately and thoroughly with plenty of clean water.
Keep away from food, beverages, and children.
Packaging & Storage
Packaging: Available in 25KG/drum or 200KG/drum.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area; avoid direct sunlight and high temperatures. Shelf life is 2 years under proper storage conditions.
Transportation: Transport as general chemicals (non-hazardous), complying with local transportation regulations.
