Micronized wax plastic rubber paper ink processing
Micronized wax is primarily used to enhance the scratch resistance, smooth hand feel and anti-blocking properties of inks and coatings, suitable for solvent-based ink and coating systems.
Key Functions
Micro-wax reduces surface friction in printed materials through its regular spherical particle structure. Its uniform fineness facilitates easy dispersion with pigments, allowing direct incorporation into inks or coatings at room temperature without requiring additional solvents or heating.
Application Areas
Inks: Suitable for solvent-based flexographic inks, packaging gravure inks, and offset inks. Improves sliding friction on printed surfaces and reduces printing friction.
Coatings: Employed in thin-film coatings to enhance paint film abrasion resistance and slip properties while preventing adhesion and soiling.
Plastics Processing & Cosmetics: Beyond inks and coatings, also utilised in plastics processing and cosmetics to boost wear resistance and tactile comfort.
