Thermal stability and compatibility: Microcrystalline wax typically has a melting point range of 60–90°C, remaining stable at most metalworking temperatures. It is also miscible with other lubricating components such as mineral oil and vegetable wax, facilitating the formulation of composite cutting fluids or greases.
