Micronized wax for injection molding
Micronized wax is primarily used in injection molding as an internal lubricant, release agent, and surface modifier. It improves melt flow, reduces friction in the barrel and screw, enhances demolding, and improves the surface finish and scratch resistance of molded parts.
Functions: Reduces melt viscosity, enhances demolding, suppresses weld lines and flow marks on the surface of molded parts, and improves the dispersion of pigments and fillers; Some micro-powder waxes can also improve the slip feel and scratch resistance of injection-molded parts.
Suitable Resins: Widely used in thermoplastic resins such as PP, PE, PS, ABS, and PVC, with particularly significant effects in high-gloss injection molding, thin-wall parts, masterbatch blending, or high-speed injection molding.
