Product Overview
Our Polyimide Film Composite Insulated Aerospace Wires are engineered to meet the most demanding requirements of commercial and military aircraft, designed for harsh environments and extreme operating conditions. Featuring a robust "Polyimide + Fluororesin (PTFE/FEP)" composite insulation system, these wires deliver an optimal balance of small size, high temperature resistance, lightweight construction, low flame propagation, and superior mechanical durability (scratch and impact resistance). With excellent arc resistance, mold and fungi resistance, and outstanding aviation fuel tolerance, they are the ideal solution for high-reliability applications in aerospace and defense systems.
Structure
1.Conductor :Annealed silver-plated copper or high-strength silver-plated copper alloy.
2.Insulation :Fluororesin (PTFE/FEP) coated polyimide film, wrapped and sintered.
3.Jacket (Optional) :Sintered PTFE film wrap.
4.Temperature Range:-90°C ~ +200°C
5.Customization :Multi-conductor configurations (twisted pairs, 3-core, 4-core stranded) available, with or without jackets/shields.
Common Key Features
1.Wide-Temperature Performance: Stable operation from -90°C to +200°C, ensuring reliability in extreme environmental conditions.
2.Lightweight Design: Thin/medium-wall construction significantly reduces weight compared to traditional cables, meeting critical aerospace weight-saving requirements.
3.Superior Mechanical Durability: Excellent scratch, impact, and arc resistance, along with mold/fungi resistance, making them ideal for high-vibration, high-humidity cabin environments.
4.Chemical Compatibility: Outstanding resistance to aviation kerosene, hydraulic fluids, and other common aerospace fluids.
5.Low Flame Propagation: Compliant with strict aerospace standards for low smoke and low toxicity in the event of a fire, enhancing cabin safety.
Typical Applications
1.Aerospace & Aviation: Wiring for avionics, control, and power systems in commercial and military aircraft, as well as satellite internal wiring.
2.Defense Systems: High-reliability wiring for military aircraft, drones, and missile systems.
3.High-Performance Industrial: Control wiring for equipment operating in extreme environments, requiring both lightweight construction and high weather resistance.
