Micronized PE PP wax for hot melt adhesive

In hot melt adhesive processing, micronized wax is primarily used as a multifunctional additive, significantly influencing the processing performance, end-use performance, and surface quality of the hot melt adhesive.
Adjust viscosity and fluidity, improve processability: Wax is the component with the lowest viscosity in hot melt adhesive formulations. Adding micro-powdered wax can effectively reduce the melt viscosity of hot melt adhesives and increase their fluidity. This makes it easier for hot melt adhesives to be applied and wet the surface to be bonded during application, resulting in better processability.
Adjusting solidification speed and open time: Micro-powdered wax can adjust the solidification speed of hot melt adhesive by influencing its crystallization behavior. For example, high-melting-point Fischer-Tropsch wax can make the crystallization distribution of hot melt adhesive narrower, thereby facilitating faster positioning and curing, which is particularly important for high-speed automated production lines.
