1.1 What Is the Smart Motion Sensor Audio Player
The Athenalarm Smart Motion Sensor Audio Player combines intelligent motion detection, directional recognition, customizable MP3 voice playback, dual-mode lighting, and external trigger output into a single compact device. It automatically performs one or more of the following actions when human movement is detected:

Plays a customized voice message
Activates motion-triggered or constant lighting
Provides a wired dry-contact trigger signal to connected alarm panels or automation systems, with optional 433 MHz wireless signal transmission available on AA-100W and AA-100WR models.
It is suitable for retail entrances, office reception areas, hotels and restaurants, banks and financial facilities, jewelry stores, security-controlled locations, industrial facilities, and smart automation projects.

1.2 Beyond a Motion Sensor: A Voice & Security Integration Module
Standard motion sensors only provide basic on/off detection. The AA-100 Series Smart Motion Sensor Audio Player adds an intelligent response layer: when movement is detected, the device recognizes movement direction (entry or exit), then plays the corresponding audio file and/or transmits an external trigger signal through wired dry-contact output or 433 MHz wireless communication (AA-100W / AA-100WR) to compatible receiving devices.

Unlike Path B, Discreet Signal Mode does not depend on motion detection being triggered — it is manually engaged from the remote control and immediately sends an active, silent signal, functioning similarly to a discreet duress/panic notification. No voice is ever played in this mode, and the remote control is disabled until the device is powered off and restarted.

2.1 Bidirectional & Unidirectional Voice Reminder with Direction Recognition
The device can distinguish entry and exit movement and play a different voice message for each direction (Bidirectional Voice Reminder Mode), or play a single message for one direction only (Unidirectional Voice Reminder Mode).

2.2 Custom MP3 Voice Message Upload
Users can connect the device to a computer via USB-C and replace 0001.mp3, 0002.mp3, 0003.mp3, and 0004.mp3 with their own recordings — no software or programming required. This supports branded greetings, safety notices, or security warnings for different industries.

2.3 Motion-Activated & Constant Lighting Modes
The built-in light can operate in two ways: Motion-Activated Lighting Mode (turns on for approximately 15 seconds when motion is detected, then switches off) or Constant Lighting Mode (remains continuously on). Because Constant Lighting Mode consumes more power, an external USB-C or 12V DC power supply is recommended when using it.

2.4 External Trigger Output – Alarm & Automation Integration (All Models)
All four models — AA-100, AA-100W, AA-100R, and AA-100WR — include a signal output port and support both Bidirectional Trigger Mode and Unidirectional Trigger Mode, allowing every model to be wired into an alarm control panel, access control system, or automation controller, not just selected models. When triggered, the device plays 0004.mp3 and simultaneously activates its dry-contact output, allowing the connected alarm panel or automation controller to initiate the programmed response.

2.5 Discreet Signal Mode – Manual Silent Notification (AA-100R / AA-100WR)
Available only on remote-control models, Discreet Signal Mode is activated by pressing and holding the mute button on the remote control for 3 seconds. Once engaged:

The device immediately sends a continuous, real-time signal to the connected alarm panel or other system
No voice message is ever played
The red indicator stays on
The remote control becomes disabled until the device is powered off and restarted

2.6 Mute Mode (AA-100R / AA-100WR)
Mute Mode is toggled via the remote control’s mute button. While active, the device continues normal motion detection and, if the current mode is a Trigger Mode, still sends signals to connected systems — but no voice is played, and the yellow indicator stays on. This allows Bidirectional/Unidirectional Trigger Mode to operate as an automatic, motion-based silent notification (signal sent, no audio), complementing the manual silent notification of Discreet Signal Mode.

All AA-100 Series Smart Motion Sensor Audio Player models support wired trigger integration through the signal output port.
